Studio Marian Video Conference



Marian College Kuttikkanam, had a video conference with Paul Lam, director of the Center of Learning Enhancement and Research (CLEAR) of the world's 49th ranking Hong Kong Baptist University and his associate Kevin Wong to sign an MoU to imply the Teaching, Learning and Evaluation programme. The conference was conducted on 27th November 2018 at Studio Marian, Kuttikkanam.

Startup Yatra Bootcamp and Idea Pitching on 14th November 2018



Students of Mcom PGDM Department 2018-20 attended the startup yatra mission bootcamp empowered by the Central Government of India and Kerala Startup Mission which was held at St. Joseph College of Engineering and Technology, Palai on 14th November. The forenoon session included 3 talks by Mr. Jees Kariyil, co-founder Joboy app, Mrs. Manju Sarah Rajan, Former CEO Cochin Biennale and Mr. Amit Sharma, official Startup Yatra. In the afternoon session, idea pitching, Alwin Siby was selected for the grand finale which is going to be held at Thiruvananthapuram on 26th and 27th. The participants from M.com PGDM Dept were. Alwin siby, Thomson Cyriac, Treesa Jacob, Sneha Jolly, Treesa Tommy, Tom Joseph and Mathachan Mathew.

Startup India Yatra - Kerala at Marian



Startup Yatra Kerala startup mission in association with Startup India is conducting a month long startup yatra which covers every districts in the state. 5000+ Entrepreneurs to be Impact | 1000+ Kms | 14 Destinations | 27 Days | 14 Van Stops | 8 Bootcamps | 1 Grand Finale The Startup India Yatra is a platform which aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities realize their startup dream. Entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to get their Startups incubated i.e., coached and prepared in one of the best incubators to succeed in their journey from idea to enterprise. The start-up India Kerala Yatra will be launch by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan on 1st November and will go on till 27th November, 2018. As part of the Yatra, 8 Boot camps and 14 Van stops are planned in 14 different districts of Kerala. All the Boot Camps will have ideation workshops and idea pitching sessions to give Entrepreneurship exposure to the students. Aspiring/Budding Entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas to the panel and people with best ideas will get a golden opportunity to participate in a 2-day acceleration program with a best incubator. Finally, people whose ideas got shortlisted will get a chance to pitch for offers by incubators and incentives by the State Government.
Startup India Yatra - Kerala reached Marian on 5th November 2018, Around 50 students registered from Marian for the Bootcamp as well as for the Idea Pitching competition to be held on 14th November 2018.
